ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WTVR) -- Some students in northern Virginia got a big surprise Wednesday when an Oscar-nominated actor, producer and rapper showed up at their school.

Mark Wahlberg gave a presentation at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria Wednesday morning.

Wahlberg, who dropped out of high school, stressed the importance of staying in school and graduating. In fact, he told students he is still working to get his degree 20 years later.

Wahlberg also told the teens that if they work hard enough, they can accomplish anything.
