Fire burns nine from Richmond duplex

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The Red Cross is helping nine people burned from their home Monday afternoon. Fire crews were called to a duplex on 5th Ave. near Myrtle Street in the Highland Park area of Richmond for a house fire.

Richmond Fire spokesman Lt. Robbie Hagaman said crews arrived at the home minutes after the fire was reported. The fire was marked under control about 3:08 p.m.

There was no one hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
