CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)—Police have released a photo for the person of interest in a death officials are calling suspicious after a home burned down.
Lloyd Edward Warren Jr., 46, is listed as an occupant of the home in the 13600 block of Duxton Drive that burned down Tuesday.
Chesterfield fire officials arrived on scene of the structure fire around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. County fire and police remained on scene investigating and providing updates throughout the day.
Around 6 p.m. police and fire officials announced that a body had been located inside the residence. Police said that at this point, evidence at the scene suggests the death of the female and origin of the fire are suspicious in nature.
Police said that Warren may be driving a black 2009 Nissan Altima bearing Virginia license plates WWA-2759, which is missing from the Duxton Drive address.
Warren is considered a person of interest and police are trying to determine his whereabouts. Police say he was living with the woman who rented the home on Duxton Drive.
The homeowner is a soldier deployed in Afghanistan.
