UPDATE: Mr. Velzy was located Tuesday afternoon in Richmond. He was unharmed.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Richard J. Velzy, 81, has been missing since Monday. Chesterfield Police have released his photo in the hopes someone can help find him.

Velzy was last seen driving his silver 2004 Buick Le Sabre near the Virginia Historical Society at 428 N. Boulevard, Richmond. Police said the car has Virginia license plates 504580

Police describe Velzy as a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes, and wears eyeglasses. When last seen, he was wearing a blue windbreaker.
