Police identify man killed in I-95 crash
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police released the names of the men involved in a deadly crash on northbound Interstate 95 in Hanover County early Sunday morning.
Passenger Jose Aguirre, 54, died and driver Isidro Gonzalez, 27, was injured when their 2000 Ford Explorer ran off the interstate and overturned around 4:00 a.m. Sunday, according to Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Tom Molnar. The crash happened around mile marker 89 (near the Route 802 – Lewistown Road exit).
Both men lived along the 300 block Omni Court, Ashland, police said.
Police have not yet said what caused the crash.
