(WTVR) – It’s important to stay in shape, especially if you’re an astronaut.

Experts say you can lose up to five percent of your muscle mass in a week living in an environment with zero gravity.

Now we know how to stay in shape, thanks to Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield.

Hadfield has become a social media sensation by sharing what it’s like to be an astronaut on a day to day basis.

His workout includes:

  • Treadmills
  • Stair steppers
  • Weightlifting
