STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- The investigation at a Stafford County property continues a week after deputies busted a man accused of dealing meth.

Major David Decatur, with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, said in a news release that Dennis Paul Benzie was arrested after detectives executed a search warrant at 800 block of  Belle Plains Road last Thursday.

Deputies said Benzie was arrested on multiple charges, including seven charges of distribution of scheduled 1 drugs (methamphetamine).

He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm while possessing narcotics, possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony and possession of marijuana.

Decatur stressed that the sheriff’s office is still on the scene, but that their investigation "does not pose a threat to the Belle Plains community."

Decatur told CBS 6 that deputies discovered some other evidence at the home that could be recovered from the property. Neighbors believe a body is buried there, but police won't confirm that.

One resident who lives near the property said he's seen search dogs and a back hoe brought to the scene.

Benzie is being held at the Rapahhanock Regional jail with no bond.
