HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – If you plan to take the train out of Richmond this week, you may want to ask a friend or family member to drop you off. The parking lot at the Amtrak station on Staples Mill Road in Henrico’s West End is full.

More people are choosing to take the train for travel and it’s created a supply and demand situation in the train station’s 250 spot parking lot. Demand is winning.

Some desperate drivers are turning grassy medians into make-shift parking spots.
