West End awning collapses under weight of snow
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – No one was injured when a gas station awning collapsed in Henrico’s West End. The Quick and Easy market is at the intersection of Pemberton and Three Chopt Roads.
Store manager Sam Patel said a woman was inside paying for gas when the awning fell under the weight of the snow. Her vehicle remains trapped in the wreckage.
The gas pumps have been turned off to prevent a fire, according to Henrico Fire Capt. Jim Mellon. The market remains open.
