RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling sent his supporters an email Thursday asking them if they would support him running for governor as an Independent Republican.

Right now Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli will run as a Republican and Terry McAuliffe is running as a Democrat.

CBS 6 political analyst Dr. Bob Holsworth came to the studio to talk about how Bolling running as an independent would influence the election.
