ASHLAND, Va. (WTVR) – A local man received his degree at Randolph-Macon College Friday just about three quarters of a century after he left the school.

It was quite a homecoming for 96-year-old Dr. William Frohbose at a luncheon given in his honor Friday.

Frohbose actually received his doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia in 1943.

However, he never received his Bachelor's degree since he transferred from Randolph-Macon to MCV after just three years.
