HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- A local middle school student will be disciplined for bringing a knife to school.

A spokesperson for Henrico County schools said employees at John Rolfe Middle School found out that the seventh grader had the weapon and took it away from him.

The spokesperson said the student never pulled out the knife and there were no threats, so the school will handle the punishment.

This is the second time in a week a John Rolfe student has been accused of bringing a knife to school
