VIRGINIA THIS MORNING: Mathematical Art

RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – Randolph-Macon College Professor, Eve Torrence, recently named one of 12 recipients of the 2013 State Council of Higher Education for Virginia/Dominion Resources Outstanding Faculty Award (the Commonwealth’s highest honor for faculty at Virginia’s public and private colleges and universities) showcased her work in the classroom. She combines math and art – creating a visual medium for students and brought along a few of her interesting pieces.
