Short Pump jewelry store heist second in 4 months

SHORT PUMP, Va. (WTVR) - Henrico Police are investigating the robbery of a Short Pump jewelry store.

Police said three men with guns robbed a jewelry store in the 11800 block of W. Broad Street around 8:45 p.m. Monday night. A manager at Littman Jewelers, inside  Short Pump Town Center, confirmed to CBS 6 reporter Sandra Jones that his store was targeted.

"The suspects brandished handguns and made demands of the employees," Henrico Police Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email. "The suspects left on foot with several items belonging to the store."

Police said they were not releasing security camera pictures of the suspects at this time and offered vague descriptions of the suspects:

  • Black male - 20-25 years old, 5'8''-5'10'', 160-180 pounds, average build, dark complexion, wearing black jeans, black hoodie, and a hat
  • Black male - 20-40 years old, 6', 150-180 pounds, thin build, dark complexion, clean shaven, wearing black jeans, black hoodie, and a hat with a yellow brim
  • Black male - 25-40 years old

Back on November 13, the Kay Jewelers inside Short Pump Town Center was robbed.Lieutenant Linda Toney said they are working with employees and examining surveillance footage to see if there are any connections.
