UPDATE: The Burger King Twitter account is no longer available.
(WTVR) – It appears someone has hacked into the official Burger King Twitter account,changed the profile to a McDonald’s theme and started tweeting sometimes profane messages to the company’s 100,000 Twitter followers.
The first “hacked” message appeared Monday afternoon at 12:01 p.m.

Since then the account has sent nearly 40 tweets and re-tweets, gaining many followers along the way.
