Virginia War Memorial legislation moves forward

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- A bill that would honor all of Virginia's fallen heroes is closer to becoming law.

A House committee unanimously advanced a proposal Tuesday which would include all the names of the state's fallen servicemen and women on a shrine at the Virginia War Memorial.

Currently, only the names of servicemen who have died in combat can be added to the wall.
