ACCOMACK, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police now say 44 arson cases on the Eastern Shore could be the work of a group of people.

The fires in abandoned buildings started in Mid-November. State Police, who say they’re aggressively pursuing leads, think several people could be working together to set the fires.

State Police are still offering a $5,000 reward for information. If you know anything about the fires on the Eastern Shore call 911.
