Without Derrick Williams in the lineup for a ninth straight game, Richmond was able to get a balance attack as five players scored in double figures as they beat Xavier 73-71 to knock the Musketeers atop the A-10 lead.

Kendall Anthony, who was questionable because of a bruised knee led the Spiders with 16 and they shot 25-31 from the free-throw line to seal the victory.
