Atlanta school shooting: Teacher, 14-year-old student shot
ATLANTA, (WGCL) — Police are investigating a shooting at a middle school in southeast Atlanta where at least two people have been shot and one person is in custody.
At least one person was taken to the hospital.
A spokesman with Atlanta Fire Rescue Department confirmed to WGCL that a 14-year-old Price Middle School student had been shot in the head and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta.
The second victim, a teacher, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. That teacher was not taken to the hospital.
Police did not release further details into what lead up to the shooting.
The school is currently on lockdown.
