PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WTVR) — VDOT urged drivers to avoid I-95 in Prince George County Saturday afternoon.
Officials said a semi fire closed all lanes on I-95 south at mile marker 44 around 12:15. However, the left lane of the interstate reopened around 12:45. The rest of the lanes opened around 1:35.
At one point, motorists were being detoured off the interstate and onto Route 301 — and VDOT advised drivers to expect delays.
