STAFFORD, Va. (WTVR) — Stafford fire crews are trying to figure out what caused a fire Friday afternoon at a boat repair facility.

Stafford County Fire and Rescue’s Assistant Chief Mark L. Doyle said in a news release that the fire started around 4:45 p.m. off Perchwood Drive.

Firefighters found a one-story, Butler-style structure with flames shooting through the room. The fire also threatened several similar structures nearby.

Crews knocked down the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading to any other buildings.

No one was injured.
