HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Still need a flu shot? The Virginia Department of Health’s (VDH) Henrico Health District will be giving free flu shots Wednesday, January 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The shots are available for people age three and older. The vaccine will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, at the Henrico County Human Services Building at 8600 Dixon Powers Drive.

“Influenza is a very serious disease that everyone should be vaccinated for annually,” Dr. Parham Jaberi, Acting Director for Henrico County Health Department said. “We’ve seen a rapid onset of the flu this year and with a reported shortage of vaccines in certain areas, the Henrico Health Department is pleased to offer this opportunity for community members to get vaccinated at no cost.”
