You work out? It might keep you from the flu!
(CBS) – There’s evidence that exercise can help fight of the flu. Researchers at Iowa State University tested young, healthy adults who received a flu shot.
They found the group that exercised after getting the shot had nearly double the response of flu antibodies than those who didn’t work out.
The exercise group also had higher levels of cells that fight infection.
