CALIFORNIA. (WTVR) - A Southern California squid frenzy.

The water there is perfect for squid to rise from the deep sea to feed on krill.

Fishing boats in the area have embarked each night full of people looking to catch one.

It's rare to see the large volume of squid they're experiencing, and scientists say the warm water is contributing to their large size.
