Lance Armstrong to talk doping scandal with Oprah

(WTVR) — In his first interview since he was banned from cycling, Lance Armstrong is expected to give more insight on the doping scandal that ended his career.

Armstrong is expected to sit down with Oprah Winfery in what’s being called a “no-holds barred” exchange. He’s expected to talk about the doping scandal and the accusations that he cheated and used performance enhancing drugs.

During the fallout Armstrong stepped down as chariman of his own foundation, “Livestrong.”

The 90 minute special is expected to air on the OWN network on January 17th.

Lance Armstrong was once a seven time victor of the Tour de France before his victories and records were removed.
