RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Several Richmonders rang in 2013 with new babies.

In fact, VCU Medical Center says a baby boy was born exactly at midnight.

Additionally, little Maxwell McCoy Parrish was the first baby born at HCA Virginia Hospital.

Maxwell was born at 12:14 a.m. to proud parents Nellie and Joshua Parrish.

He weighed in at nine pounds two-and-a-half ounces and was 21 inches long.
