VIRGINIA THIS MORNING: Cheesy Artichoke Toasts & Midnight Cocktail

Holiday Party Menus are filled with tasty finger foods.  Food Connoisseur Shayne Rogers of Shaynefully Delicious shares her delicious and easy to make Cheesy Artichoke Toast appetizer and pairs it with her signature Midnight Cocktail.

Cheesy Artichoke Toasts

14 oz jar artichokes, drained, rinsed and chopped

½ c bread crumbs

½ c grated parmesan cheese

½ c mayonnaise

2 garlic cloves, minced

1c mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 loaf of crusty French bread, sliced

Combine first five ingredients.  Spread on slices of bread, top with shredded mozzarella and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Midnight Cocktail

1 oz apricot brandy

½ ox triple sec

Fresh lemon juice           

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.  Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.  Garnish with a slice of orange.
