It was the trip to the mall that some shoppers in China will never forget.

A huge decorative aquarium cracked, then shattered, in the lobby of a mall in Shanghai.

The accident sent water, fish, turtles and even sharks flooding onto shoppers.

Fifteen people were injured by broken glass and three sharks did not survive. The incident occurred Dec. 18.

A spokesman for the mall told a local newspaper that “they are not going to build an aquarium again in the future.”
