VIRGINIA BEACH Va. (WTVR) — Police in Virginia Beach continue to search for a lost mother after she was last seen just after noon on Christmas Eve.

The family of Diane Hartzog says that she went on a walk outside of her Sandbridge rental home and hasn’t been seen since. Hartzog is said to be on several different medications for severe depression.

Her family says it’s possible she became confused and lost after walking around in an area she doesn’t know.

Virginia Beach police have searched the entire Sandbridge and False cape area with the help of volunteers, a helicopter, K-9 units and ATV’s.

Hartzog is 59 years old. Anyone with information on her location is asked to contact Virginia Beach Police at 757-385-5000.
