UPDATE FROM THE NY POST: A spokesman for the Lanza family says an imposter is behind Ryan Lanza’s Facebook page and that Ryan did not post the messages in this story.

The brother of the Connecticut school shooter has spoken out.

Adam Lanza’s brother, Ryan, told the New York Post through a Facebook chat, that “I am a victim.” The 24-year-old told the Post, “I loss [sic] my mom and brother.”

On Friday, Dec. 14, Ryan’s brother shot their mother, Nancy, in her bed as she slept.

After killing her, he went to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut and opened fire, killing 26 people: 20 children and 6 adults.

The last three victims were laid to rest Saturday.
