Dog rescued from Richmond fire

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–A fire in the 3300 block of Florida Avenue, near Meadowbridge has been extinguished by crews. 

Lt. Hagaman said that crews were called to the scene around 6:45 p.m. Sunday. 

Lt. Hagaman said that there were no injuries to report. A dog was trapped inside and firemen rescued it. 

There was no one at home at the time. They were out Christmas shopping, officials said.
