RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A record $550 million Powerball jackpot could be given away during Wednesday night's drawing.

Jerrita Patterson spoke to lottery officials about ticket sales and has advice for people joining a lottery pool.

Officials recommend you put one person in charge of a family or office pool.  You should outline who is participating in the lottery pool and how much they contribute.  And it's important to outline how the money will be split.
