Halifax County, VA (WTVR) – Sheriff’s deputies in Halifax County are looking for two people who drove a pickup truck into a convenience store on purpose.

Investigators say the two men smashed the truck through the front door and windows of Gene’s Orange Market on Tuesday with the sole purpose of stealing an ATM inside.

Sheriff’s deputies say they loaded the machine onto the back of the pick-up, then took off. The truck was found several blocks away, but the ATM was no where to be found.

Investigators are still looking for both of the suspects.
