The CAA is considered by many to be one of if not the best conference in 1-AA College Football…sending no fewer than four teams to the playoffs on a regular basis.

Richmond will not be one of those teams in the postseason party.  At a viewing party on Sunday, Spiders head coach Danny Rocco made the announcement that his team did not make the playoffs.

The Spiders became the first team since New Hampshire back in 1996 to have at least eight wins overall and six in the CAA and not play on the postseason.
