RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A strong cold front continues to sweep southeast through central Virginia early this Tuesday morning, bringing showers and much cooler air.

When the front passes your location, expect wind gusts around 30 mph and temperatures plummeting by about 10 degrees within minutes. As colder air continues to surge into our region behind the front today, temperatures will continue to slowly fall into the mid and low 40s by sunset.
