Clocks fall back one hour tonight

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

We have been experiencing daylight saving time since March 11, but that will come to an end at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Tonight is the night that we “fall back” one hour to eastern standard time.  We will stay on standard time until we spring ahead again on March 10, 2013.

The clock switch will bring the sun up around 6:30 a.m., and darkness will begin setting in after 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Enjoy the extra hour of sleep (or productivity, etc) !
