Singer Chris Brown clears probation hurdle
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Chris Brown has cleared a probation hurdle.
According to CNN, the Central Virginia native has completed his required 140 hours of community service.
The singer was ordered to serve out his probation in Richmond after he was convicted of beating then girlfriend, singer Rihanna in 2009.
Brown, 23, has also completed year three of a five year supervised probation sentence. He will now be able to move the remaining sentence to Los Angeles and out of Richmond.
