CHESTER, Va. (WTVR) – In a game that mattered little more than for Chesterfield pride, second-ranked L.C. Bird pounded rival Thomas Dale 42-3 in Week 9.

Paul Robertson ran for 184 yards and two touchdowns while quarterback Terrence Ervin set a school record with 233 yards passing and 3 scores. Ervin also became Bird’s first ever 1,000-yard passer in the win.

L.C. Bird is now 9-0 on the season and have won 9 straight in the Battle of Chester. Dale falls to 3-5.
