Hiker falls off cliff escaping ‘angry’ bee swarm

ARIZONA (WTVR) - One hiker is dead and another two were stuck on the side of a cliff after running into a swarm of angry bees.

The surviving hikers were stuck for hours and had hundreds of bee stings by the time emergency crews came to airlift them to safety, they're expected to be okay.

The third hiker dies after falling off the cliff trying to get away from the swarm. Emergency crews wore bee suits but were also stung multiple times during the rescue operation.
