(WTVR) – It seems like we’ve been talking about Hurricane Sandy for days now. Forecasters have been warning folks to prepare for the worst. 

And after Hurricane Irene in August of 2011, state and city leaders wasted no time telling folks to get stocked up on supplies and be prepared for power outages.
