Rabies alert in Henrico’s West End

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A raccoon killed by a dog in Henrico’s West End tested positive for rabies, according to an email from Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney. The dog killed the raccoon this past Saturday.

The incident took place along the 8400 block of Marroit Road in western Henrico.

The dog will be quarantined for 45 days.
