West End man arrested for being drunk in public, pointing a gun

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A Henrico County man was arrested on gun and alcohol charges after an incident outside a West End home. Gary Wayne Lynch, 50, was charged with brandishing a firearm, breaking and entering and being drunk in public, Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email to CBS 6.

Toney wrote police were called to a home along the 3800 block of West End Drive Friday night. There police said officers found Lynch and two other adults standing in the driveway of a home.

The adults told police Lynch verbally threatened them, pointed a gun at them and entered a woman’s home, Lt. Toney wrote. Police did not say what, if any, relationship Lynch had with the other adults involved in this situation.
