Virginia Tech continued their dominance over Duke…spotting them 20 points in the first quarter and rallied for a 41-20 win…their 12 straight win over the Blue Devils.
The Cavaliers lost their fifth straight after a 2-0 start…losing 27-20 to Maryland at homecoming.
Richmond fell behind 34-17…scored 23 straight points to lead 40-34 but lost to New Hampshire 44-40. Quarterback John Laub left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent ankle injury.
There is a new leader in the CAA…James Madison defeated William and Mary in double overtime 27-26 to stay unbeaten in the conference while Old Dominion suffered their first CAA loss of the season to Villanova 38-14. Wildcats quarterback John Robertson ran for three touchdowns and threw for one.
And in the ODAC…Washington and Lee is the lone unbeaten in the conference after beating Randolph Macon 49-14…holding the Yellow Jackets scoreless in the 2nd half.
