How much money do Virginians make?

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia is getting a better picture at how much workers across the state make.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says 7 percent of Virginia workers are paid at or below minimum wage. And of them, 55 percent are women.

Virginia is tied for seventh in the U.S. when it comes to states with the number of workers making at or below minimum wage.
