RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - With Hanover starting quarterback Andrew Knizner injured, Hawks running back Lawrence Jones put the offensive load on his back.
Jones rushed for 351 yards on 35 carries and seven touchdowns in Hanover's 66-37 win over Henrico.
Sam Rogers returned to Hanover's lineup and scored three touchdowns for the Hawks, who outscored the Warriors 47-6 in the second half.
Hanover improved to 5-1 overall, 2-1 in the Capital. Henrico fell to 0-6 on the season, 0-3 in the Capital District.
