VIRGINIA THIS MORNING: October is SIDS Awareness
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)- “Sudden Infant Death Syndrome” is the leading cause of death in children between the ages of one month and one year. Local Registered Nurse Michele Schultz, from the “Fetal Infant Mortality Review” and Community Action Team Chairperson Tracey Diehl show us how you can protect your infant from SIDS. You can take part in a candlelight vigil taking place Monday, October 15th at 7pm at the Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg for those who have been effected by the loss of an infant or any supports of the cause.
