RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond just saw one of its most dangerous months for crime in years.

And on the heels of an inner city crackdown on crime,  one group is holding area events, like a  Stop the Violence Concert, to get youth off the streets.

Vance Chisolm, one of the event organizers, stopped by the CBS 6 studios Saturday morning to talk about the importance of events like these to the younger population.
