Richmond police department welcomes 20 new officers

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Friday was a day of celebration for Richmond’s finest.

The Richmond Police Department, along with mayor Dwight Jones, helped congratulate 20 new officers into the force.

The graduates went through 30 weeks of training before the ceremony — and will immediately begin their patrol schedules.
