Oscar becomes fifteenth named Tropical Storm of the season

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Tropical Depression 15 became our fifteenth named cyclone of the 2012 Atlantic Basin tropical cyclone season last night. Tropical Storm Oscar is in the eastern Atlantic and poses no threat to land. Wind shear should force Oscar to lose its organization by this weekend.
