RICHMOND (WTVR) – Picketers are outside the downtown Richmond offices of Dominion Virginia Power protesting the $76 million in bonuses recently given to the company’s employees.

Picketers include members of Alliance for Progressive Values, Chesapeake Climate Action Network, Sierra Club Virginia, and Virginia Alliance for a Cleaner Environment.

They say these bonuses are being paid for by customers through a renewable energy law.

They’re also protesting the company’s use of fossil fuels and wants Dominion to invest in Virginia made solar and wind power systems.
